An absolutely unique collector's item. The telescope was presented on 1 January 1943 on the occasion of Rolf Manke's promotion to captain lieutenant. Embossed at the front: eagle M, Rolf Manke, Kapitänleutnant and 1 January 1943. Excellent condition. Only a few small dents. Brilliant sight. Inside a small soiling at the edge.

Rolf Manke served as I WO on U 576 and as commander on U 358. U 358 sank three merchant ships and one warship on five undertakings. On 01.03.1944 U 358 was sunk north of the Azores. Captain Lieutenant Rolf Manke was also killed (one survivor). 14.02.1944 German Cross in Gold.
