Original ring of Kptl. Erich Lothar Martin, U 776

Well preserved submariners ring from the family.

In the ring hallmark 800 and U 776. Outside U-boat war badge and the inscription Wir fahren gegen Engelland. The swastika is ground out. With confirmation of the family. Very nice and rare piece.

Size: approx. 6 cm

U 776 was commissioned on 13 April 1944 and failed to sink any ships during an operation in the North Atlantic. After the surrender it entered the British port of Portland.
