U-boat Diving rescuer of the Kriegsmarine from the 2nd WW

Very rare collector's item with repairs

Stamped with an eagle. In addition to the repairs, the diver rescuer also has an unrepaired hole. Material is still soft. Unfortunately, the nose clip is missing. Hose and mouthpiece in good original condition. Manufacturer not recognizable. Probably Dräger. Stamped Date: 03/22/34  No Oxygen bottle.

Material: rubberized linen

The Tauchretter was the standard equipment on U-boats of the Kriegsmarine. He should make an emergency exit possible up to a water depth of 60 m. Where too fast emergence from this depth could lead to serious health damage or death. The device is a Wechselatmer. The exhaled air was deprived of CO2 and inhaled again.
