Cap badge from U 201 under Captain Lieutenant Adalbert Schnee, knight's cross holder with oak leaves. Good condition. Coarse embossed or cast piece.

U 201 was put into service in 1941 and belonged to the 1st U flotilla. It sank a total tonnage of 102 255 GRT on nine patrols. U 201 was sunk on February 17, 1943 by the depth charges of a destroyer. Total loss.
