Description

Kriegsmarine U-boat binoculars Zeiss 7 x 50 blc from U 2503 in very good condition from 2nd World War

Outstanding U-boat collector's item of the Kriegsmarine (U 2503)

Absolutely brilliant sight as new. This copy still shows why these binoculars are still considered one of the best ever produced. The corresponding photos are a bit deceptive, since it is difficult to take a picture in the middle. You will be enthusiastic.

Manufacturer Zeiss (blc) with the serial number 48235, 7 x 50. Slight signs of wear and flaking of paint. Rubber protection with minor cracks. A nut replaced on the bracket. Absolutely clear optics. Diopter adjustment smoothly.

The binoculars come from a Danish collector who sold them to a German collector. I bought it from him.

U 2503 was a Type XXI boat that was set on fire on 03.05.1945 by British fighter pilots off the Danish island of Omö. After the tower and headquarters were burned out, it was towed to the beach by a small motor boat and blown up there by the crew on May 4, 1945.

A wonderful U-boat collector's item
