Hard to find militaria collector's item of the Kriegsmarine

Marks fully preserved. Naval acceptance eagle M 901, WSA E - BE, W. Sch.- Amt, ED 7, cln 11573. Very well preserved original paint with slight signs of wear. Works perfectly.

The double protractor is used for navigation near the coast. You look for three fixed points, measure the two angles e.g. with a sextant, sets the angle on the double protractor and places the protractor on the nautical chart so that the legs run through the points. The vertices give the location.
