Well-preserved Kriegsmarine Militaria collector's item. Machine-woven cloth version of the U-Boat war badge.

Aluminum threads on a blue background. Manufacturer presumably BEVO, Bandfabrik Ewald Vorsteher.

Material: fabric, aluminum

Dimensions: approx. 5.4 x 6.5 cm

Even if a cloth version, especially on a U-Boat, also offered advantages, the manufacture and wearing of this was forbidden in a short message in the specialist magazine "Uniformen-Markt" on May 1, 1942.
