Ready for immediate use. These gramophones were used on board most ships and U-boats to improve mood and therefore morale. Unfortunately, the lettering "Property of the Kriegsmarine" has been removed from the lid (see German Kriegsmarine by Eduardo Delgado, page 458). With seven records and about 20 needles.
