Pretty rare Kriegsmarine book Die Kriegsfahrt des Hilfskreuzers Atlantis, original issue from 2nd World War

This rare book was only issued to crew members. Only a few copies still exist!

A very beautiful illustrated book documenting what was probably the longest naval operation of WW2. 622 days at sea. Published for the crew members by Adjutant Captain Lieutenant Dr. Ulrich Mohr. Publisher Die Heimbücherei John Jahr 1944. Good condition due to age. Foxing, water damage on two or three pages. One page probably scribbled on by a child, two other pages damaged. Otherwise good general condition. Binding is still very good. No loose pages.

A wonderful contemporary historical document of the Kriegsmarine. A venture equal to Prien's attack on Scapa Flow !

Currently I know of only two other copies on the market.
