Nice collector's item of the Kriegsmarine

Unfortunately, the needle is broken. But it is still complete. Otherwise good condition. The enamel is well preserved. Backside dirt.

The 1st U-flotilla had its base at the beginning of the war in Kiel. After the occupation of France, the base was moved to Brest to operate in the Atlantic. After Brest was besieged by the Allies, the 1st U-flotilla was dissolved in September 1944 and the still usable U-boats were relocated to Bergen.
