The color deceives in the photos. The badge is silver.

U 575 sank nine ships (one of which was a war ship) during his enemy rides, and damaged three more with a total of 66,802 GRT. In March 1944 it was hit by several water bombs and sunk, with 17 crewmembers dying and 37 men saved.

U 680 had to break off two enemies because of defects. On the third flight, no sinking could be achieved. After the end of the war, they were handed over to the British and buried there in Operation Deadlight on 28.12.1945.
