This beautiful cap badge was selected by the course for officer cadets (1936) on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Berlin. Later, the commanders took over this badge for the assigned submarines. Including U 995, which can be visited in Laboe.

The badge is marked on the back: ges. gesch. Probably one of the most frequently used submarine emblems (about 55 submarines).
