Pretty rare Kriegsmarine coffee pot of the 6th U-Flotilla Hundius from 2nd World War.

Very nice Kriegsmarine militaria collector's item, as the U-flotilla Hundius only existed from 1938 to 1939.

Coffee pot with many markings. On the side: 6th Submarine Flotilla <<Hundius>>, opposite: The emblem, Kiel, Kriegsmarine, 19 HGM 38. The meaning of HGM is beyond my knowledge. On the handle twice cross M. Below: Manufacturer Ritter Aluminium HL 30, Artl. 1050, DRGM.

Traces of use and scratches, small dents, inside limescale, one small hole.

The U-boat flotilla Hundius was formed on 1st October 1938 in Kiel. Disbanded in December 1939 and integrated into the 2nd U-boat Flotilla. In September 1941 again formed as 6th submarine flotilla in Danzig. Moved to St. Nazaire in February 1942 and finally disbanded in August 1944.
