Compasses of the Kriegsmarine are hard to come by on the free market. Here you have the rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful specimen of a navy e-boat compass. Manufactured by the renowned company C. Plath in Hamburg. Serial number 1138. Naval approval preserved in full, No. 856. Double gimbal-mounted on eight spiral springs to reduce the vibrations caused by fast cruising. Very good condition, fully functional. A screw is missing.
