Description

Complete board uniform corporal medical career.

Rare complete set of one person.

Includes the flat cap, white uniform shirt, white trousers, knots, boots, a Kiel collar and the identification badge. There are also a few copies/prints of photos of the owner.

The flat cap accompanied Bruno Scheel from the Marine HJ Schwedt until the end of the war. Size is 53 with drawstring in the leather. No moth damage. Sewn-in name badge. The celluloid diamond is broken. Manufacturer Erich Schade Herrenartikel, Polo last novelty. Kriegsmarine cap band embroidered with gold thread. With cockade and eagle.

The uniform shirt with rank and career insignia. The buttons on the sleeves are missing. No damage. Embroidered roll number O 2185 S /34. Sewn-in Peters name tag. BAK stamp 25.2.36. Since Bruno Scheel assured that these are the items he was wearing at the end of the war, I assume that they were reissued after the wearer's retirement or death. Or borrowed.

The same applies to the Kiel collar. Also with Peters' name tag sewn in. Age-related discolouration and stained. No damage.

Knot with bow tie, stripes from top left to bottom right. Without damage.

White flap trousers without moth damage. All ribbons present. No damage. Names or stamps cut out at the waistband. A vertical bloodstain on the left leg. Approximately at the height where a stretcher would have been. Somewhat stained.

Rare "speedboat boots", which are lined with felt on the inside. Some scuffing on the caps. As they continued to be used after the end of the war, with rubber soles.

Bruno Scheel's identification mark, O 21398/41 S B.

The set is rounded off with a few prints/copies of photos.

Bruno Scheel began his career with the Marine HJ in Schwedt an der Oder. !941 Joined the navy, career as a medic. Speedboat/torpedo boat unit in Swinemünde. Since photos from Norway also exist, probably stationed there in the meantime.
